What a beautiful phrase, yet unfortunately so remote from our scale of values. The phrase made me think, and here's my brief experience.
The first time I felt this popular phrase firsthand was when I fell in love. That tingling sensation in your stomach when you see the person who steals a part of your heart, who makes your hair stand on end and makes you lose everything at times, is simply incredible. But sometimes things end, and you have the feeling that feeling will never return. And suddenly, there are your children, who, with their gestures, smiles, and simply their sweet way of saying "Mom," make you vibrate in the same way.
I go even further: when it's a special birthday for you and your dad sings you a song, looking into your eyes with emotion, showing you that you're the best thing in his life without having to say it, just by singing to you and making his eyes water. Or when your true friends hug you and make you feel great, telling you you're special.
I think the feeling of butterflies is completely related to love, regardless of whether it's between partners, children, parents, or friends.
I feel happy to feel those butterflies inside me every day and I never want to lose that feeling, because I would be very afraid of losing all the love I have around me.
