Dragons and Butterflies, by Neo Hammer

Aboard what appeared to be an ultramodern spaceship with minimal but colorful decor, the doors of a futuristic laboratory open. At an undetermined time and in dim, fairly neutral and natural lighting, a truly historic event is taking place: a humanoid body lies unconscious on a stretcher-like platform levitating five feet above the extremely clean and shiny floor.

Two individuals wearing white uniforms enter the room and approach the organism to inspect and perform various tests on the sleeping body. Colored lights and synchronized data appear on the screens covering part of the walls. They are very close to something historic. The conclusions will be much talked about.

After a few moments of work, one of the two researchers makes a cut in the middle of the abdomen. Something appears right at the scan site. They stare at each other without speaking.

They have discovered something they have been searching for for some time. Evidence that will finally prove what for so many years had been a deep, collective intuition.

One of the team members collects samples of each type of substance that has appeared in the small cavity. Two substances that will change our perspective by integrating the past and future into the present, the tangible into the intangible, the abstract into the concrete, the material into the immaterial, in an almost magical way.

The first is a small, misshapen, green, gelatinous mass, resembling a tiny winged dinosaur. The other substance is a quadruple membrane, with a texture like an extra-thin, bright blue film, connected in pairs, in the shape of a butterfly.

One of them opened a medium-sized, oval, metal container, and the other carefully placed the samples inside. An inert gas atmosphere covered the samples while the container automatically sealed itself, with a series of colors and markings appearing immediately upon detecting both substances inside.

Within seconds, the screens and walls began to burst with flashing colored lights and musical sounds. Aha, shared. They'd found it!

They already knew what it was, and understood how frictions within the self, fears, and tense situations could materialize, evolving from yearnings to motivating dreams. Integration in progress. Permanent metamorphosis. New version available.

The two specialists then proceed to relocate the two substances to their original location, then quickly cauterize the opening with an intense white light laser.

Both gather data by joining their hands with the body connected in hypnotic mode. A vibration filled with energy and love is produced, which warms and completely heals the incision.

They leave and just at that precise moment when the doors close…I wake up.

I finally managed to emerge from a deep, pleasurable trance, my face filled with satisfaction at the realization of two things: first, that we are all, with the certainty that there is much more beyond. And second, the realization that materialization is integrative; my inner dragons in the conscious happiness of feeling butterflies in an intimate and interconnected way.

Coexisting like this, in my fractal reality, with everything and everyone in my conscious evolution.
